The passage of a frontal system Friday night leads to a cool start to August.
According to the National Weather Service, a cool windy day is ahead with temperatures getting no warmer than 80 degrees with a warm-up to the mid to upper 80s by Sunday.
It will be a short lived reprieve from the heat as summer temperatures return by Monday with highs back into the 90s.
