The Arvest Charity Golf Tournament is coming up soon.
Scott Tennyson and Sealy Wayland appeared on KHOZ's "Around The Table" on Monday to talk about the annual event. Tennyson said it's a two-man- scramble. It's at 8:30 a.m. at Mountain Home's Big Creek Golf & Country Club on Aug. 24.
Wayland talked about who will benefit from this event. She said it will benefit three charities, including Boone County's Children's Charity Ministry. The charity works with schools to aid in feeding students.
Wayland explained that they do that via the backpack program, a thrift store and a food pantry. Tennyson added to that.
He said they also provide tuxedos and prom dresses to those who can't afford them. Registration is online. More was discussed on the broadcast.
The full interview with Tennyson and Wayland is on the "Around The Table" Facebook Page.
