MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. (June 10, 2025) – Arvest Bank is accepting nominations for its annual “Charity of Year” honors through June 27.
Three nonprofit organization, one each from Baxter, Boone and Marion counties, will be selected to receive proceeds from the bank’s 29th Annual Charity Golf Tournament to be held Sept. 13 at Twin Lakes Golf Club in Mountain Home. Last year, the tournament raised $20,000 for local nonprofits and has raised more than $281,000 since it first began.
“It’s always inspiring to see the community come together to support the vital work being done by our local nonprofits,” said Scott Copeland, president of Arvest Bank – North Arkansas. “We’re lucky to have so many great organizations in our region helping to meet the needs of our friends and neighbors.”
Charities must be a designated 501(c)(3) organization. To submit a charity for consideration, nomination letters can be emailed to Cindy Sutterfield at csutterfield@arvest.com.
Details of the charity golf tournament will be released at a later date.
