Dr. Billy Ray Lewis Aired Concerns About the Chamber of Commerce

Billy Ray Lewis said Tuesday that while there are no ill feelings toward the Chamber of Commerce or Harrison as a city, Harrison has "no business" giving taxpayer dollars to another entity like the Chamber until it does everything necessary with the tax money.

Founder of the Transparency in Government Group in Boone County, Lewis was an educator for 47 years. He said during KHOZ's during KHOZ's "Around The Table" on Tuesday that during his time in education he always felt it was important that the public be aware of what's going on in the school system. Lewis said he started the Transparency in Government Group in Boone County in about 2010.
