LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced a program to expand aid to people in need in the state by collaborating with the faith community.
The pilot program is called 10:33 after the passage in the Bible’s Luke 10:33 where a good Samaritan comes to the aid of a traveler in need and cares for the man. The program will utilize the existing Restore Hope initiative, alongside the HopeHub, a collaborative aid platform, the governor explained, to transition people in need from “crisis to career,” a term repeated throughout the announcement.
After initial needs are addressed, an individual is led to Arkansas LAUNCH to connect job-seekers and employers, the governor said.
