People looking to dispose of natural Christmas Trees in Arkansas are encouraged to consider a donation to area lakes.
The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission in a release reminds people who are looking for a place to dispose of the trees that they can use the trees to help develop and reinforce fish habitats on Arkansas Lakes.
Through the end of January, residents can dump the used natural Christmas trees and several sites throughout the state. In the Lakes Region, drop sites include at Beaver Lake, Highway 12 Access, AGFC Don Roufa Highway 412 Access and Monte Ne Boat Ramp Access while at Bull Shoals Lake, trees can be dropped off at any U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Boat Ramp.
