The Arkansas State Police issued their awards and honors for 2021 during a ceremony last week.
According to a release from the ASP, Official Commendations were presented to State Troopers for actions and work in the performance of their duties. Commendation may be presented to a department employee for exemplary service when the employee, through diligence and perseverance, performs beyond the call of duty.
Trooper Ronnie Boyd, Highway Patrol Division, Troop L which includes Carroll and Madison counties, has commended for his assistance in the apprehension of a murder suspect that was being sought by agents from the ASP Criminal Investigation Division as well as the Boone County Sheriff's Office.
Two other special agents from the CID, Justin Nowlin and Jackie Stinnett were awarded for assistance in cases in the Mountain Home, Baxter County area.
