In a press release Monday the Arkansas Department of Transportation said they have created pages on Facebook and Instagram to make it easier for Arkansans to keep up with conditions and projects.
“It’s now easier than ever for Arkansans to keep up with statewide transportation projects and road conditions,” said ARDOT Director Lorie Tudor. “Transparency and customer satisfaction are very important to us here at ARDOT. Increasing our social media presence is a great way to work toward both of those goals.”
Prior to joining Facebook and Instagram ARDOT’s only social media page was on Twitter with the handle @iDriveArkansas. The twitter page as well as live updates through ARDOT’s iDriveArkansas webpage will continue but is not available on Facebook or Instagram.
