Alpena Freedom Fest Still On Though Fishing Derby Postponed

One of the events for this year's Freedom Fest event in Alpena is being postponed while the rest of the event is on as scheduled.

This morning's Fishing Derby has been postponed due to heavy rains causing creek levels according to information posted on the Alpena Events Facebook Page. No reschedule date has been announced. 

The rest Freedom Fest is on as scheduled starting at 4:00 this afternoon with several activities including Bounce Houses, Cornhole and Watermelon Eating Contests, Car Show, live music with the Massengale Brothers prior to the Fireworks at dusk.
