Changes to smallmouth bass limits will affect anglers on Crooked Creek, the Buffalo and White Rivers following recent regulation updates by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission posted by KTLO.
The local waterways are part of a system of designated streams called Smallmouth Bass Blue Ribbon Streams.
Daily limits before the changes were two smallmouth of at least 14 inches in length. The new limits announced last week will be one fish with a 15 inch minimum length.
The regulation changes were part of over 200 changes to the deer, waterfowl and fishing for the AGFC Code of Regulations.
